Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 28th September 2026.

We at RR Mental Health Clinic are working to make sure our site is accessible to people with disabilities. Our clinic is dedicated to making its digital services accessible to everyone, including patients with visual, auditory, cognitive, or motor impairments.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.0 guidelines. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

Accessibility arrangements at the Clinic

First contact:

There is an initial form to fill when booking an appointment. If you cannot fill this form because of your disability, one of our clinicians will call you to help with the form.

Disabilities:

We will work with you and put reasonable adjustments in place where feasible. Please let us know if you have specific needs that might prevent you from accessing our service.

The parking is available in the Ringwood short stay car park. There are disabled parking spaces.

There is wheelchair accessible toilet at the clinic's premises.

We can work with British Sign Language interpreters. We use Relay if we need to speak with someone hard of hearing on the phone. We can provide copies of all important documents and treatment plans in large print.
Neurodiversity:

We can make adjustments for autistic people, for example use social stories and concrete language. We can make adjustment for people with ADHD, for example adding breaks or adjusting the lenght of the appointment.

Learning disabilities and cognitive impairment:

We ensure our environment is sensory-friendly (minimising noise and bright lights). We provide all key documents in Easy Read format to ensure full understanding and participation.

Language barrier:

We can arrange an access to interpreters (there is an extra fee - they will charge the client directly).
